The Laurel Wedding | Jewel Tones

Alex and Mark’s The Laurel wedding in Grapevine featured jewel tones and tulips. The element of tulips tied together from the couples’ engagement session during the tulip festival at The Dallas Arboretum.  Helpful tip is choosing an engagement session location that holds significance to the couple, Mark and Alex nailed it!

Katie Bug Florals did an incredible job bringing Alex’s floral color story to life. I love the powder blue elements with bridesmaids matching pajamas, dresses, the invitation suite, groomsmen ties, reception details and Alex’s gorgeous bridal shoes.

Mark and his “Broomsmen” (Mark Broom) fashioned classic tux’s and had custom tie clips with their initials gifted to them. The whole wedding party had wonderful energy and made portraits a breeze.

The Laurel offers the perfect space for large events and shelter from the ever-changing  Texas weather. Right before the grand sparkler exit, a big storm rolled in and added some excitement complete with lightning and thunder.

Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Broom!
