Talk about luck! We planned Susan’s The Mason Dallas maternity session within one week, and everything came together beautifully! I hadn’t been to The Mason Dallas prior to this session. Though, I have seen plenty of STUNNING images of the space on Instagram. I envisioned Susan in a flowing dress that would be cascading around her down the stairs in the front of the property.
Susan got right down to business to find an outfit for her session. My kind of girl! The fact that it arrived in the mail on time around the same time there were major delays in the mail due to intense weather across the U.S was that extra bit of luck we were blessed with!
More about the Mason; “Constructed in 1920, the Oak Cliff Masonic Lodge #705 was designed by prominent Dallas architect Herbert M. Greene (Belo Mansion, Dallas National Bank building). Almost 100 years later, the building has been thoughtfully reimagined into a special event venue like no other in Dallas. Rich details and a variety of textures allow you to experience intimacy and grandeur in one beautiful venue, making your event possibilities limitless.”
Susan has such a poise about her. She took direction so well and just embraced the session with myself and my friend Janet who doubled up to style and photograph her. She’s expecting a little girl in a few months!
Without a doubt, the charm of the space with as much charm as The Mason and the modern beautiful of Susan’s ensemble and adorable 5 month bump merged seamlessly.
I love celebrating new life with a unique twist in photos that can print and display beautifully in your home! I’ll never forget the amazing meal we enjoyed after The Mason Dallas Maternity session. The new restaurant in downtown called Te Deseo, was amazing…yummmmm.
