Old Mission Santa Barbara Wedding | Kevin and Ghica

Filed in Weddings — August 17, 2023

This breathtaking Old Mission Santa Barbara wedding was one for the books! The Old Mission Santa Barbara dates back to 1786, and is truly a gem of a venue. Situated at the foot of the Santa Ynez mountains, visitors are treated to incredible views of both the mountains and ocean while marveling at its Spanish colonial architecture. The stone facade, majestic bell towers, and colonnade serve as a backdrop exuding romance and history. With a picturesque garden and manicured courtyard, the ambience is enchanting and ensures an unforgettable landscape as your day unfolds.

I’m always thrilled to visit Santa Barbara, and it’s the ideal place for a wedding as its beauty and weather is remarkable year round. As a destination wedding for the couple who reside in Texas, they couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful weekend. Kevin and Ghica’s Old Mission Santa Barbara wedding was an intimate, family oriented celebration. Most of Ghica’s family traveled from the Philippines to witness their nuptials and share the newlywed’s joy. Another successful Tindr story, they are, coincidentally, both pharmacists, and paid a nod to their careers by asking guests their prescription for a happy marriage.
